Project Clean & Green

As part of the City of Milwaukee’s Clean & Green program, Project EverGreen will be working with area organizations to renovate more than seven public green spaces, including planting trees, building flower beds and creating sitting areas. The City is also including information about the benefits of green spaces on all of the cart tags placed on residents’ garbage cans to give helpful information about simple things everyone can do to make their community a greener place.

Art of Green Spaces:

Project EverGreen is holding our second annual “Art of Green Spaces” competition this year. This contest encourages local school children to submit works of original art that reflect their appreciation of green spaces.

Because Green Matters Award

Project EverGreen is recognizing several local companies with our “Because Green Matters” Awards for their ongoing efforts to make Milwaukee a greener place. We will be making formal presentations to WE Energies, Johnson Controls, Northwest Mutual Life, Aurora Healthcare, and Mandell as part of our Downtown Appreciate Week this Spring.
