A National Green Industry Summit for the nursery and greenhouse industry has been set for June 11-12 in St. Paul, Minnesota, to discuss national marketing/promotional programs. The meeting is being facilitated by Project EverGreen, the national non-profit public service organization created to inform consumers about the environmental, lifestyle and economic benefits of managed green spaces. The meeting will be hosted by Bailey Nurseries. Green industry leaders have been discussing national marketing informally for several years. Representatives from a number of major green industry associations will be attendance, as well as leading nursery and greenhouse owners.
“Project EverGreen is eager to bring industry thought leaders to St. Paul for this discussion,” says Den Gardner, executive director. “We can thank Dale Siems (one of our board members) of Sherman Nursery and Terri McEnaney of Bailey Nurseries for their efforts in bringing this impressive group together for the meeting.”
